Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick is a non-profit organization with a mandate to educate the public about the law and promote access to the legal system. We are seeking a bilingual “information officer” to operate our toll-free “family law information line”.

From time to time, the officer will assist in the research and development of new family law resources and materials.
We are looking for an individual with a thorough knowledge of family law issues, how the courts work, court rules, and court procedures and family law forms. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with the public. Preference will be given to applicants with a law degree and 1-3 years experience in the area of family law. Although practice insurance is not required, if you are a member of a Law Society, you must be in good standing. Other related education and background experience may be considered.
