Family Law Workshops Coordinator (Bilingual)
Salary Range: $37,000 to $44,000 depending on skills and experience (This is a one year contract position)

Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick is a non-profit organization with a mandate to educate the public about the law.  We are seeking a bilingual “family law workshop coordinator” to assist in the implementation of project called “Navigating the Family Justice System”.  The successful candidate will assist with the implementation and promotion/advertising of family law workshops across the province.  The workshops address the law information needs of individuals handling their family law matters such as an uncontested divorce or child support variation.

The coordinator will be required to:

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of family law issues, how the courts work, court rules and procedures, and family law forms. We are looking for a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and who is able to organize and coordinate diverse tasks and communicate effectively.  Preference will be given to applicants with a law degree and 1-3 years experience in the area of family law.  Other related education and background experience may be considered.  The successful candidate must be fluently bilingual in both official languages.
